Happy 2023 to you from the Central Square BID!

2022 was a year of growth and transition for us. With the peak of the pandemic behind us, our team mobilized around a plan to bolster our award-winning placekeeping work throughout the district.

You’ll see in this year’s annual report all that our organization was able to accomplish, from a bolstered Ambassador and Outreach program to a successful Season 3 at Starlight. At every opportunity, around every corner, we sought to enliven the public life of the Square.

This year, we welcomed eight new businesses to the Cultural District! We also said a bittersweet goodbye to many beloved mainstays, including Classic Graphx, Mary Chung, and Simeon’s. We celebrate them and their staff for the incredible achievement of being in business and of service to our community for decades. They will all be missed.
