Happy 2022 to you from the Central Square BID! The start of the new year gave us some time to reflect on the past 12 months, a year of growth for the organization amidst the on-going challenges of COVID-19. We're proud to share our 2021 Annual Report here for you to enjoy. It's a month-by-month highlight reel of our efforts on behalf of Central Square that features our Ambassadors, Outreach team, Starlight staff, and includes parting words from founding Executive Director, Michael Monestime.

It goes without saying that our organization’s foundation is both strong and spirited due to Michael's herculean effort over the last five years—especially the last two. We thank him for the inspiring groundwork that has led us here.

Now, thanks to the work of the Executive and Hiring Committees of the BID’s Board of Directors, a new Executive Director will take the reins beginning in February 2022. We look forward to working with Luis E. Cotto to continue our vision of making Central Square a vibrant, clean, and safe place for all our stakeholders.

While we don’t know how the pandemic will play out in the coming months, we are confident in our incoming leadership, our existing team, and the incredible partnerships we have with Central Square property owners, businesses, residents, and City staff and departments. We will continue to show up every day on behalf of the Square, come what may. See you in the Square soon!
